Inspired by Anita Sarkeesian’s Video Game Tropes vs Women, I wanted to pitch a Zelda game where Zelda herself was the hero, rescuing a Prince Link.
Clockwork Empire is set 2,000 years after Twilight Princess, and is not a reboot, but simply another iteration in the Zelda franchise. It just so happens that in this case, Zelda is the protagonist. I’m a very big Zelda fan, and worked hard to draw from key elements in the continuity and mythos.
This concept work is meant to show that Zelda as a game protagonist can be both compelling and true to the franchise, while bringing new and dynamic game elements that go farther than being a simple gender swap.
Hope you like it!
I would play the shit out of this game.
Here’s a little night-light I made out of a house I actually build on the Nerdcrafteria Minecraft server.
I wrote a proper blog post about the construction process too HERE

So I haven’t posted as often as I said I would in my last actually written update. Here’s why.
First, I have a girlfriend. We’ve been seeing each other for a few months, and she’s taking priority over anime, video games, and such. I’m going to keep trying to write reviews and such, but since I’ve been seeing her, I have actually been spending time with people more than I’ve been locked in my room. I’ll do what I can, and she enjoys gaming, so I might even get her to join me for some of the more review-y parts of this as things progress.
Second, I believe I mentioned doing a games channel with my roommate. There’s two big changes with that. My roommate is no longer interested, so it will be just me, making it easier to make the videos. Also, my gaming PC has been down since late December. The hard drives started to crap out, and I can’t afford new ones until I get my tax return. It will be a few months out before I can get that rolling. I’ll do what I can.
Finally, I’m graduating soon, so I’m focusing more on school, job hunting, and the like. I have connections at Dark Horse Comics and WebMD that may be able to swing me an entry level position at their respective work places. I really want the Dark Horse job, and I’m searching for other places to work in the Northwest.
Just wanted to let you know I’m not dead yet and say thanx for staying with me.
